- I am a self-employed knitter/designer and photographer. I strive to write unique designs inspired by nature, folklore, magic, Fairies and Elves, and I find a lot of inspiration from symbolism and traditions in cultures throughout history. Torch Lily
Torch Lily is my new design featuring Malabrigo Rios, a wonderful superwash Merino. A slip stitch pattern is used for the body of the hat, and Fair Isle while shaping the crown, the pattern provides plenty of interest for the knitter as well as beautiful texture. Well written instructions and a colorful chart are included. A special thank you to my friend Lauri for modeling this design.
